Al-Jazeera’s documentary on human rights abuses in Cuba is a must-see

December 16th, 2012 | Posted by William Vidal in Cuban opposition

I just got around to watching this stunning documentary by an Al-Jazeera journalist who embedded himself with Cuba’s leading democracy advocates to experience their daily struggle against state repression. The Ladies in White, Antonio Rodiles, and Elizardo Sanchez are all prominently featured.

It’s embarrassing that Al-Jazeera has scooped every major American mainstream news channel in bringing such immediate coverage to the plight of these brave men and women.  Not to be missed.
